Purchasing Administrator
Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire
Salary: £32,000 to £34,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Benefits: 23 days annual leave (increasing with service), generous company bonus, free on-site parking
Purchasing Administrator Role Overview:
You will be responsible for managing all pricing requests, ensuring quotations are processed efficiently and accurately to support the team’s workflow and objectives.
Responsibilities
* Manage all quotations and ensure the best pricing is achieved.
* Handle tenders to maximise efficiencies and pricing advantages.
* Review quotations to identify opportunities for using stocked products.
* Identify similar processed quotations to improve turnaround times.
* Negotiate pricing on special orders to maximise gross profit.
* Provide guidance to the sales team on similar quotations to enhance efficiency.
Requirements:
* Experience in purchasing or estimation within a commercial environment
* Proven negotiation skills and experience.
* Strong organisational and time management abilities.
* Excellent attention to detail with the capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
