Contract Scotland is working on an immediate requirement for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to perform an 8-week contract, supporting the purchasing team with an increased workload.
The main function of this role is to assist in all areas of the daily Purchase Ledger function.
Responsibilities include:
Processing new supply purchases
Reviewing invoices to ensure that they're accurate and correctly formatted
Creating credit accounts with new suppliers to finance payments
Match purchase invoices to purchase orders in an accurate and timely manner following the internal processes
