THE ROLE
Our client, a firmly established and expanding manufacturing company is looking for a Purchase Ledger Assistant who can fit into the existing small team in the finance function, take on the role and make it their own and help with cover with other sections of the team. The role as purchase ledger assistant is detailed and varied, and will consist of the following.....
* Processing, Coding & Posting of Supplier Invoices 1,000 a month
* Matching PO with invoices
* Month end close off
* GRNI report
* Payment Runs, Proforma payments
* KPI’s
* Supplier statement reconciliation's
* Dealing with supplier queries
* Expenses
* Credit card statements
* Maintaining strong financial controls in the processing of all transactions
* Providing excellent customer service internally and with our suppliers and other contacts
* Responsibility for the Accounts email inbox, dealing with all queries and printing invoices/statements
* Private Mileage
* Ad-hoc duties
Successful candidate.......
The successful purchase ledger assistant will have .......
* Experience in a purchase ledger role
* Good excel skills
* Be able to multitask in a small team
* Great communication skills
* Willing to learn and listen
The successful purchase ledger assistant can expect a salary of upto to £28k depending on experience, very generous holidays of 28 floating days and the 8 bank holidays - wow !!!!!!
Very generous pension contributions up to 14% - wow again !!!!!
Weekly hours will be 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and a 1.45pm finish on Fridays.
