Job Description

Job Title: PSD (Personal Social Development) Teacher Location: Chesterfield (S41) Pay Rate: £140 - £220 GSL Education is looking for a dedicated and experienced PSD Teacher to join a school in Hasland (S41). This is an excellent opportunity for an educator passionate about personal and social development, helping students build confidence, resilience, and essential life skills. Job Responsibilities: Plan, deliver, and assess engaging PSD lessons tailored to students' personal, social, and emotional growth. Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages self-awareness, teamwork, and decision-making skills. Adapt teaching strategies to support diverse student needs and learning styles. Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and help them develop independence. Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to support student well-being and success. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE). Experience teaching PSD, Citizenship, PSHE, or a related subject in a school setting. Strong understanding of personal and social development topics and their importance in education. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
