Job Description
Are you an experienced Property Manager with a passion for asset management and tenant relations? Our client, a leading real estate investment firm, is seeking a dynamic professional to join their established team in either Glasgow or Edinburgh to manage a diverse portfolio of commercial properties across the UK and Western Europe.
The Role:
As a Property Manager, you will:
* Oversee day-to-day property management activities, ensuring efficient operations and tenant satisfaction.
* Manage service charges, including budget preparation, expenditure monitoring, and annual reconciliation.
* Coordinate with third-party clients, acting as the main point of contact and delivering monthly/quarterly reports.
* Work closely with Facilities Managers, consultants, and contractors to maintain high standards of service delivery.
* Ensure Health & Safety compliance, including risk assessments, fire safety, and asbestos management.
* Conduct regular property inspections to maintain standards and build strong tenant relationships.
* Manage credit control procedures to ensure timely collection of payments.
* Supervise site-based staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to company standards.
About You:
* Proven experience in property management, with a strong understanding of property operations, tenant management, and service charge management.
* Knowledge of YARDI Property Management Database or similar property management systems.
* Familiarity with relevant property legislation, health and safety regulations, and compliance standards.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
* Strong analytical and reporting skills with proficiency in MS Office Suite (including PowerPoint and Excel).
* A team player with proven people management skills and the ability to maintain high standards.
* MRICS qualification is desirable but not essential.
Salary & Benefits:
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000
