Job Description

It is key that you are technology savvy because whilst they have spreadsheets, paper systems and a CRM they really need someone with the expertise to review the processes enabling the process to run more efficiently by embracing new technology - this is their priority. You will have assistance to help deal with the administrative tasks of the role whilst to lead, strategise, investigate and take responsibility as a whole. This remains a 'hands on' role. Key responsibilities: * To proactively manage the Maintenance Department and all staff within it. * To report to the Executive Director, and the Board, on the performance of the Maintenance Department. * To continually review processes and procedures to look for improvement and efficiencies, and drive change. * Manage the health and safety of the Maintenance Department, ensuring compliance with all company Health and Safety policies and all legal requirements. * To ensure the department maintains a professional and customer-orientated relationship with staff, our client, tenants, and members of the public. * To be a supportive member of the Management Group. * To be a supportive member of the company Health and Safety Group; ensuring the safety of maintenance staff, properties, and the public.
