Job Description
Site Project Engineers - Wastewater Infrastructure
Location: NW Thames Valley Region (Oxford, Chipping Norton, Bourton-on-the-Water to Swindon Road)
Contract: 12 months | Rates Negotiable
We are seeking two experienced Site Project Engineers to work on wastewater infrastructure projects, including interventions at existing sewage treatment works. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong understanding of wastewater systems, mechanical and electrical installations, and site coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing site activities, ensuring works are completed safely and efficiently.
Ordering essential equipment, including pumps and mechanical kit.
Preparing method statements, risk assessments, and site plans.
Signing off works and ensuring full compliance with industry regulations.
Acting as a problem solver on-site, liaising with contractors, suppliers, and the client to ensure seamless project delivery.
What We're Looking For:
Experience in wastewater projects with a strong understanding of sewage treatment works.
Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems within water infrastructure projects.
Ability to work independently, take ownership of site activities, and problem-solve effectively.
Strong communication skills with experience dealing directly with clients and contractors.
Competence in preparing technical documentation, site reports, and risk assessments.
This is a 12-month contract with negotiable rates depending on experience.
