Project Officer Southampton, Hampshire (with Hybrid Working) About us We are OSRL, a leading organisation dedicated to global oil spill preparedness and response. We are now looking for a Project Officer to join us on a full-time, fixed-term basis for 3-6 months, working 36.25 hours per week. Part-time working will also be considered. The Role As a Project Officer, you will co-ordinate and support various project activities, including the move to new offices and the vacation of an existing office and warehouse site. Overseeing some project management activities, resources and information, you will work with project stakeholders to ensure work in on schedule and assist support team, such as purchasing and finance, to ensure processes are being followed. You will work with suppliers for quotes and scheduling, assist in preparing budgets and maintain project documentation and reports. Additionally, you will monitor project progress, organise project-related meetings and document the outcomes, and address any arising issues. About You To be considered as a Project Officer, you will need: - Experience as a project co-ordinator or similar role - Experience of managing budgets - Awareness of key elements of project management - Excellent organisational skills - Confident communication skills, with the ability to empathetically hold people to their project commitments Other organisations may call this role Junior Project Manager, Operations Executive, Operations Co-ordinator, Project Co-ordinator, Project Administrator, or Project Support Officer.
