As a Project Manager, you will oversee all aspects of tooling projects, liaising with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution from design through to final delivery.
Your responsibilities as a Project Manager:
* Manage all tooling projects, ensuring quality, cost, and on-time delivery metrics are met.
* Lead tooling project meetings, providing updates on timing, risks, and recovery plans.
* Communicate changes to delivery schedules with internal teams and customers.
* Monitor project costs, identifying potential recoveries and opportunities for cost improvements.
* Work closely with production teams to track and optimise workflow through all manufacturing processes.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives to maximise capacity and enhance on-time delivery performance.
Your current experience which will help you as a Project Manager:
* Proven experience in project coordination within a manufacturing or tooling environment.
* Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, and risk management.
* Ability to interpret engineering requirements and collaborate with design and production teams.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills, with experience liaising with customers and suppliers.
* Proficiency in using project tracking tools and ERP/MRP systems.
* A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
