Overview of the role:
We are now recruiting for a Project Manager to be based at our clients Sunderland office. The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle and delivering the scope as per the agreed budget and schedule, whilst ensuring the target margin is realised.
The Project Manager is a key figure within their business; driving progress across a number of different departments to ensure our projects are executed in line with our company policies, processes and objectives. The Project Manager monitors progress, leads project reviews, drives completion, and summarizes project status into internal and external project reports. They are also the main point of contact for the client.
To be considered for the role you will have:
• HND in a technical or engineering discipline
• Formal project management qualification
• Demonstratable experience with projects within a construction environment.
• Project controls experience, including planning, monitoring and reviewing of both schedules and cost.
• Ability to understand engineering drawings and specifications.
