The Company:
A privately owned main contractor specialising in high-end luxury residential projects across Prime Central London.
They deliver bespoke refurbishments, fit-outs, and occasional new builds. They employ direct tradespeople, keeping subcontracting to a minimum and focusing only on specialist elements such as M&E.
They also operate a small works, maintenance, and aftercare division to provide ongoing client support.
Projects typically range from £1m to £10m, primarily in Mayfair, Kensington, and Chelsea, with occasional work in Wimbledon and Richmond. They are known for a dynamic, team-oriented culture with exceptional staff retention and long-term employee development.
The Project Manager Opportunity:
An experienced Project Manager is required to take ownership of a £3.5m prime residential refurbishment project in Notting Hill.
Key responsibilities include:
* Overseeing the full lifecycle of the project, from groundwork to completion.
* Managing and coordinating the client team, subcontractors, and internal resources.
* Working closely with a Quantity Surveyor and Foreman to ensure smooth project delivery.
* Planning ahead with a holistic view, ensuring subcontractor schedules and resources align with project milestones.
* Delivering a complete gut refurbishment, including a new roof installation, a conservatory extension, and new MEP systems.
* Using Procore for project management (training provided if necessary).
* Reporting to a Contracts Manager responsible for overseeing multiple projects.
