Our client is a leading utility company with a healthy order book. Due to an increase in workload they are looking to expand their management team with an experienced Project Manager to oversee HV projects up to 132kv.
Salary to £70k | Company Car / Allowance + Fuel card | Bonus | Pension | 25 Days Holiday + bank holidays
Key Essentials:
* Reporting to the Operations Manager, your role will involve managing high voltage power projects, cabling and substation builds. Works are in the public highway and wayleave entry through fields, completed to UKPN standards
* Overseeing Site Agents, you will be responsible for conducting regular site progress meetings with the client
* Full responsibility for ensuring that all projects are constructed to CDM Regulations in a safe manner as per designs and that they are documented and recorded correctly
* Working closely with the commercial team, having full awareness of projects
* Ensuring that Project Planners are updated regularly
* Carrying out regular site audits
Requirements:
* Previous project management experience of HV power projects, cabling and substation builds with a good knowledge of current legislation, technical standards and specifications. UKPN experience is a distinct advantage.
* Commercial awareness with good knowledge of CDM Regs.
* Good I.T skills having previously used planning software (MS Project or P6)
