Job Description
The Role:
We are working with a main contractor who are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join a major highways and infrastructure scheme. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading key sections of work, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage a section of works, supervising site teams and supply chain.
*
Plan, monitor, and drive project progress, leading daily LEAN meetings.
*
Take full ownership of project costs, working with the commercial team.
*
Identify and manage any changes in scope across operations, design, and commercial aspects.
*
Implement and oversee temporary works and value engineering solutions.
*
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
*
Attend external meetings with clients and stakeholders, building strong relationships.
*
Ensure site teams and subcontractors work to the latest design specifications.
*
Monitor material orders, take-offs, and reconciliations.
Requirements:
*
Proven experience as a Project Manager in highways, infrastructure, or civil engineering.
*
Ability to manage multiple work packages simultaneously.
*
Strong knowledge of CDM 2015, NEC contracts, and highway regulations.
*
SMSTS & CSCS certification.
*
HNC or higher in Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience).
*
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
