Project Engineer - HVAC (Nuclear Sector)
£60,000 base salary
11.5% - 13.5% project disturbance allowance
£1,464 accommodation payment per month
Monday - Friday working away
Travel costs covered
34 days holiday per year
Are you an experienced Project Engineer or a skilled professional who has progressed from hands-on roles to leading on-site operations? This is an exciting opportunity to join a critical infrastructure project in the nuclear sector, where you'll play a vital role in managing and delivering HVAC systems to the highest standards.
The Project Engineer Role:
* Oversee and manage the installation, quality, and commissioning of HVAC systems within a highly regulated environment.
* Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with rigorous quality and safety standards.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to achieve project milestones.
* Conduct inspections, testing, and validation to ensure optimal system performance.
* Provide technical solutions to installation challenges, ensuring seamless integration with other systems.
What We're Looking For:
* Experience as a Project Engineer in HVAC or a similar discipline.
* Alternatively, hands-on HVAC experience with a proven track record of career progression.
* Strong understanding of installation, commissioning, and quality assurance in regulated environments (nuclear experience is advantageous).
* Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
* Relevant qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or HVAC systems.
