Project Engineer (MEICA Projects) - Water Industry - £45,000 – Hybrid Working - Company Car or Allowance – 33 Days Holiday – Fantastic Progression routes – Professional Development J3A Recruitment are over the moon to be working with an absolute leader in the mechanical field of the water industry. With a highly reputable name in the industry and a firm who have been growing year on year. Due to recent wins, along with a very healthy pipeline of works, they’re now looking to find an experienced Project Engineer to seriously drive various projects to where they need to be. You will be supporting the Project Management function and have responsibility seeing projects from cradle to grave. Whether you’re already an experienced Project Engineer looking for their next challenge, or a Senior Engineer looking for that next level of responsibility, I can’t recommend these guys enough. Please note - this role is a Hybrid position with occasional site visits when required. The right candidate must be in / around the East of England with projects around Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk, and Suffolk. As a Project Engineer, you will; * Carry out initial scoping of works with client on site * Provide technical support and knowledge for any refurbishment, replacement or repair of equipment * Good understanding of full MEICA scope or the willingness to learn * A proven expert in your line of work whether it be Mechanical or Electrical engineering. * Involved in pre-construction plans * Stay up to speed on all H&S documentation for each job * Liaise with internal design teams to keep within contract requirements * Arrange and attend site meetings to discuss any project requirements * Have responsibility for site supervision, installation & commissioning activities Requirements for the Project Engineer * Previous experience as a Project Engineer or similar (Site Supervisor, Site Manager, Senior Engineer) * NVQ Level 3 as a Minimum or HND / HNC in Engineering.
