HRGO is on the hunt for Production Technician to join a leading manufacturing company right here in Folkestone. 🎉
As the Production Technician, you will…
Dismantle, clean, and reassemble machine parts in line with company micro standards. Maintain 5S principles in production areas as instructed by the Shift Manager, ensuring all routine checks are carried out.
Your day will include:
⚙️ Flexibility & Compliance: Be adaptable in duties and follow instructions, SOPs, and manufacturer's guidelines
🛡️ Safety & Training: Maintain a safe working environment, complete T20 training, and properly handle chemicals and equipment
🗄️Storage & Housekeeping: Ensure safe storage of change parts, materials, and maintain cleanliness in all units
📊 Reporting & System Updates: Report equipment malfunctions and update SAP/stores to confirm material availability
📈 Continuous Improvement & Leadership: Participate in improvement initiatives, manage non-standard tasks, and set an example for others
What We're Looking For:
🔄 Previous experience in a similar role, including cleaning or washing parts, or a background in fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) or manufacturing
🗣️ Strong communication skills
➗ A basic understanding of mathematics
💻 Computer literate
⚙️ Basic engineering skills
