Job Title: Production Shift Manager Location: Derby area , easy M1 access Client: Global Manufacturing Pay Range: £43k - £48k Target range plus Overtime, Bonus, Health, Excellent Pension.. ...and lots of time off on the shift cycle! Contract Type: Permanent An excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated Shift Production Manager to work a 4 on 4 off pattern with 18 days off every 5 weeks on the cycle. Our client is a category leader in Global manufacturing. Their manufacturing facility is currently experiencing sustained expansion and business growth with several million investment. To remain at the forefront of a highly competitive marketplace, an opportunity has arisen for a proven production professional to manage a production area on shift. Key Responsibilities – Production Shift Manager The Shift Production Manager will oversee all operations across the department starting with safety then optimise quality, line efficiency and delivery Lead a team of technical operators via your direct reports of Production Area Leaders Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing team, undertaking a diverse role with responsibility for controlling the movement of all raw materials through to finished goods Acting as a change agent, you will be responsible for both the day-to-day management of technical and production professionals in your area, via your established management team Co-ordinating and driving development projects which will lead towards performance improvements, cost reduction and greater competitiveness Provide technical support and analysis, including the utilisation of industrial performance and continuous improvement tools Qualifications & Requirements – Production Shift Manager Ideally with a considerable understanding of manufacturing factory operations.
