Job Description

We are currently looking for a Production Planning Administrator to join an established, but growing business based in Ponteland on a permanent basis. The Production Planning Administrator will assist the Production Manager. The role will be predominantly administration with some tasks taken place within the factory. The Production Planning Administrator will receive a salary between £24,000 - £27,000 DOE. 20 days holiday plus statuary holidays, Company pension 5% is paid by the employee and 3% by the employer. Hours of work, Monday - Thursday 8.30 - 5pm, Friday 8.30 - 4pm The role is primarily Office based. Responsibilities *Managing and updating a production schedule. *Estimating and calculating the labour time necessary for the completion of the project. *Communicating with other departments regarding production schedules and any changes. *Applying their knowledge of maths and statistics. *Using computer technology relating to enterprise resource planning or (url removed) would be advantageous. *Preparing production job packs and printing labels. Skills required *Previous experience in managing a Production schedule. *Previous Analytical and logical skills. *Business management abilities. *Strong budgeting skills and commercial awareness.
