About the Production Planner job:
This position involves scheduling work orders for the designated value stream to support key metrics and indicators, including on-time delivery and inventory management. Responsibilities include sequencing production schedules for efficiency, creating a Master Production Schedule aligned with capacity and demand, and analyzing data to support supply chain execution. Additional duties include:
* Balancing customer demand with manufacturing and supplier capacities.
* Developing a Master Production Schedule to generate requirements for parts and maintain desired inventory levels.
* Analyzing material and production trends to optimize planning parameters and inventory levels.
* Leading inter/intra-company demand scheduling and ensuring alignment with production schedules.
* Supporting production with rework orders and defective material reviews.
Qualifications and Skills for the Production Planner job:
* A degree or APICS CPIM accreditation is preferred.
* 3+ years of relevant experience.
* Proficiency in MFG/Pro, Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, PowerPoint), and OBIEE.
