Job Description
We are seeking a Production Planner to join our clients team in North Hykeham. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an engineering/manufacturing environment.
Full time, permanent
25 days plus 8 Bank Holidays
Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4pm and Friday 7:30am to 12:30pm
Production Planner role:
* Planning, scheduling and coordinating production.
* Work with the planning team to develop and maintain production schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods.
* Evaluating raw material and all other bill of material requirements to ensure everything is in place to meet production requirements.
* Reporting any issues associated with the plan to the Head of production planning.
* Support customer services where necessary with customer delivery schedules.
* Evaluate production and supplier performance, recommend improvement to any areas which are directly impacting the planning process/performance.
* Resolve scheduling conflicts and adjust production schedules as needed
Experience required:
* Experinece as a Production Planner is desirable, not essential
* Experience with MRP systems (Manufacturing Resource Planning)
* Good Communication Skills,
* Computer and Data Literate,
