Job Title: Production Planner
Location: Hereford
Hours: Full-time - Working Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm Monday to Thursday 8:00am – 3:30pm Friday
Peak Season (July & August): 6 days/week (Monday – Saturday) Time off in lieu will be provided during the quieter season.

Are you organised, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment? We're looking for a Production Planner to join our dynamic packhouse team during our busy fruit packing season.
As a vital part of the operation, you will act as the key link between our production floor and customers. You’ll ensure that production runs smoothly, orders are accurately fulfilled, and delivery deadlines are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Production and Technical teams to pack fruit efficiently to the highest standards.
• Process and manage customer orders, ensuring adequate fruit and packaging stock levels.
• Coordinate transport between production, customers, and hauliers – solving issues as they arise.
• Manage relationships with direct customers, acting as the main point of contact for buyers.
• Ensure outstanding service for both contract packing and retail/wholesale customers.
• Coordinate the production, sale, and dispatch of wholesale fruit.
• Administer the dispatch department – ensuring accurate, on-time deliveries with correct paperwork.
• Recruit and manage seasonal admin staff.
• Maintain an audit-ready office environment, ensuring cleanliness and professionalism.
• Handle incoming calls, visitor reception, and general site enquiries.
• Assist with reporting on pack-out rates and waste management.
• Lead continuous improvement projects and track KPIs to drive efficiency.
