Production Operative – Faringdon - 9-day fortnight and early finish Friday
This is an excellent opportunity for a Production Operative to a medical manufacturing based in Faringdon, Oxfordshire. You will ideally have a manufacturing background and have a good eye for detail. This company are over a hundred years old and are now going through a strong period of growth and the Production Operative can progress their career within the company. We have recruited for this company for many years and not only are they are an excellent and progressive organization to work for, they also operate a 9 days fortnight and finish early on a Friday!
The roles and responsibilities:
As Production Operative you will have the following roles and responsibilities:
* To play an instrumental part in the completion of time sensitive manufacturing processes
* Follow SOPs to complete necessary production processes in a heavily regulated medical production environment
* Complete paperwork accurately
* Report on any production problems
* Work well under pressure in a calm and measured manner
* Be a Team Player, communicating effectively with all members of staff
The requirements:
To be suitable for the role of Production Operative you will ideally have the following skills:
* Numeracy and Literacy capabilities
* You will ideally have worked in a manufacturing environment
* Experience working within a regulated environment would be desirable
* Attention to details
* IT literate
* This role could progress to a team leader position so previous supervisory experience would be useful
The package:
The successful candidate for the role of Production Operative will receive the following package:
* Salary - £24,882
* 25 days holidays plus bank holidays
* Opportunity to progress into a team leader in time
* 4% pension contribution
* Working pattern is 9 day fortnight
* Monday – Thursday 7:15am – 5:00pm
* Friday finish at 1pm
* Every other Friday off

The role of Production Operative is based in Faringdon, Oxfordshire and is commutable from Oxford, Swindon, Abingdon and Cirencester.
