Job Description

Our established client based in Haverhill is currently looking for Production Operatives who are passionate about delivering the highest standards of food production, ensuring compliance to legislation, microbiological and visual hygiene & food. Experience within a food production environment would be a distinct advantage. The role is a temporary opportunity with lots of availability in the future. Salary: £11.75 per hour Hours of work are: ·Monday to Thursday ·6am to 6pm -Friday 6am to 3pm Duties include: * Work in a safe way following all appropriate safety procedures and wearing protective equipment correctly at all times * Conduct quality checks ensuring that we meet product specifications * Unpack, packing, loading and unloading (boxes, finished goods, raw materials) * Monitoring production lines etc. * Machine minding cover for Machine Operator * Other general tasks waste processing, order packing etc * Work to relevant standards and Key Performance Indicators * Occasional attendance and contribution at the daily review meeting and regular attendance/contribution at online performance reviews * Flexible working patterns * General facility hygiene - floors, walls and conveyors etc. and working in a manner that epitomises ‘clean as you go Personal Specification: * Hard-working & diligent with a hunger to learn * Previous relevant experience in a food manufacturing environment * Committed to food quality & safety * Comfortable working with raw materials such as beef, pork, chicken, turkey, lamb * Flexible, pragmatic, resilient & humble * Good level of speaking English Applicants must be available for an immediate start, with an induction and training prior to joining.
