Are you looking for a Production Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer position working bespoke projects? Do you have experience working within production / manufacturing in an Engineering and looking to take the next step in your career as an Engineer? Do you want to work in a position that has an aggressive progression plan to grow and develop within the business? If so we are seeking a Production Engineer initially on a contract basis (Long term) for company that supply globally specialising the design and manufacture of special purpose machinery and equipment to get involved in production manufacturing.

Essential Requirements / Experience:
* We are looking for someone with experience in a practical engineering position (Manufacturing, Production, Process, Project etc)
* Familiar with creating BOM's (Bills of Materials and Parts lists)
* ERP / MRP System experience
* Must have an Engineering Qualification / Apprenticeship within a relevant discipline (Degree, HNC, HND, Apprenticeship etc.)
* A strong character with the ambition to progress and eager to learn and get stuck into a variety of production manufacturing projects

The Role
* As a Production Engineer you will be office based supporting production on the shop floor, with the plan to progress for the right candidate, responsibilities include:
* Balancing requirements against resources & agreeing delivery dates
* Reviewing Engineering Drawings
* Working on the ERP system, Creating BOM’s (Bills of materials) Working orders etc.
* Continuous improvement of production and manufacturing processes
