PRODUCTION ENGINEER
BOURNEMOUTH
£30,000 - £34,000 + TRAINING + BENEFITS
Due to expansion and the securing of new contracts, my client are looking to add to their skilled team with the addition of a Production Engineer.
We are looking for someone with a couple of years' experience working within a production environment, who now wishes to progress their career within a company which actively promotes internal promotions.. the company have a global customer base and design, manufacture and distribution a range of products for a range of sectors.
THE ROLE:
Creating Parts & BOMS in the ERP system.
Purchasing materials and consumables.
Material inspection against engineering drawings.
Material marking for easy identification.
Preparation of all necessary project documentation for customer approval.
Liaising with, coordinating and managing third parties crucial to the project schedule.
Conducting quality inspections throughout the project lifespan and at project hold points.
Marking, tagging, stickering and assembly of products.
THE PERSON:
2years experience within production environment.
Experience using an ERP/MRP systems
Relationship management skills are required, as you will be liaising daily with customers, suppliers and other key stakeholders.
A confident self-starter with the ability to prioritize and proactively manage their own workload, to achieve project schedules.
Have an engineering background and being confident interpreting drawings, customer specifications, ordering materials, preparing project documentation, and using AutoCad software.
Experience in goods inward or material inspection would be highly advantageous
