Job Description

Do you have a planning background? Are you IT literate with strong communication skills? If so, our client, an injection mould specialist, is recruiting for a Production and Purchasing Planner for their site in Larkhall. Reporting to the MP&L Manager, this role will be responsible for planning and scheduling purchased commodities in line with MRP requirements and stock level targets.   Production and Purchasing Planner   Permanent Salary dependent on experience Monday – Thursday 08:15 – 17.00, Friday 08:15 – 13:30   Larkhall   Production and Purchasing Planner Job Description Planning and scheduling purchased commodities in line with MRP requirements, stock level targets, and production demands. Issuing and managing purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery of production and indirect parts while maintaining strong supplier relationships. Monitoring, maintaining, and reporting on inventory levels and supplier performance, presenting insights through scorecards and group supplier calls. Overseeing consumables and packaging kanban levels, ensuring alignment with production needs and maintaining accurate min/max levels. Collaborating with central purchasing and NPI teams to ensure on-time delivery of commodities for programme introductions and end-of-life cycles.  Production and Purchasing Planner Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications Experience in a planning role Strong IT skills Good communication skills  Production and Purchasing Planner Company Benefits 8% combined pension contribution 24 days holiday plus bank holidays Discount program that can be used with various retailers  Please apply below if this role is of interest
