PROCUREMENT AND SUPPLY CHAIN SPECIALIST WITH MAIN CONTRACTOR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR A PERMANENT POSITION IN WARRINGTON Job Title:  Location: Warrington Salary: Up to £70k DOE + £6k Car allowance Vacancy type: Permanent Benefits: Company car allowance Company pension Life insurance Private medical insurance 26 days holiday allowance Summary of Procurement & Supply Chain Specialist Role: Delivery of Strategic Procurement and Supply Chain Strategies. Procurement & Supply Chain Strategy – delivering improved commercial terms, added value and procurement & supply chain transformation aligned to business growth Responsibilities For Procurement & Supply Chain Specialist Role: Procurement: Drive commercial and added value benefits through negotiation of best value Group Frameworks / Agreements aligned with the Group Supply Chain Strategy, including: o Preferred Supplier Agreements (PSA) o Preferred Manufacturer Agreements (PMA) o Third Party Agreements (TPA) o Regional and National Sub-Contractor Frameworks (SCF) Make recommendations and businesses cases to the Group Head of Procurement & Supply Chain, Director and other stakeholders for new group agreements and frameworks. Including presentation of data, recommendation papers and presentations where appropriate. Ensure that products to be procured via Group Frameworks are compliant with all legislative/statutory requirements Supply Chain Development of our Sub-Contractor Database and alignment of our database with third party data sources Collation of various data sources, aligning them with our PMO dashboard and analyse of trends for risk management and to identify improvement opportunities. Sharing and communicating relative information with the wider business.  Contributes to and develops our performance measurement culture and processes – ensuring the process and understanding of why its required is embedded within the business and the tangible metrics Requirements for Procurement & Supply Chain Specialist Role: 10 years’ experience in Procurement & Supply Chain roles in the Construction sector, with additional sector experience also a preference Construction and/or Business-related Qualifications – including NVQ, BSc, BA, MSc MCIPS Proficient IT skills particularly in Excel, PowerBi, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook Ability to handle and analyse large volumes of data quickly and accurately – utilising information to identify risks and opportunities Utilises data to support decisions and business improvement and able to represent data accurately to back up
