Private Client Tax Director – Top 10 Accountancy Practice (London)
Representing a Leading UK Accountancy Firm
We are working with a top 10 UK accountancy firm that has a strong reputation for providing exceptional services to clients across a broad range of industries. This prestigious firm is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Private Client Tax Director to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of private clients, overseeing the compliance process to ensure timely and accurate filing.
Identify tax-sensitive expenditure and address broader tax issues within the portfolio.
Work closely with Tax Partners to deliver high-quality tax advisory services.
Lead and develop the private client tax team by providing coaching, conducting appraisals, and offering guidance on assignments to foster skill development.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular contact and by attending client meetings.
Monitor your own utilisation, productivity, and work-in-progress (WIP).
Provide feedback and guidance to team members to support their professional growth.
Requirements
What We Are Looking For:
CTA, ACA, ACCA, CA qualified (or equivalent).
Exposure to multiple sectors is highly advantageous as our clients come from various industries.
Significant experience in personal/private client tax or mixed tax in a similar role within a practice environment.
Strong technical knowledge and the ability to research complex areas of tax legislation.
Demonstrated ability to identify new business opportunities and develop client relationships.
