Job Role: Principal DevOps Engineer
Location: Hereford (3 days a week on-site)
Salary: £80,000 – £110,000 DOE

Do you have experience in:
Utilising multiple cloud platforms, with a specialisation in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, and CloudFormation.
Integrating public and private cloud infrastructures to deliver unified hybrid cloud solutions.
Being a customer-facing representative, consistently delivering work that exceeds client expectations.
Terraform and Ansible for IaC, combined with advanced programming capabilities in Python, Golang, or other object-oriented programming languages.
CI/CD pipelines, containerisation tools like Docker and Podman, orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, and version control systems like Git.
IT security, including application hardening and implementing secure software development lifecycle practices. If the above sounds like you, I would love to have a chat about a very exciting position!

As a Principal DevOps Engineer, your expertise will be pivotal in building and architecting solutions that support both operational needs and strategic objectives.
Responsibilities include:
Integration, deployment, documentation, monitoring, and patching of workloads to ensure optimal reliability, availability, and performance of services.
Working with development teams to embed DevOps methodologies and practices into the software development lifecycle.
