Job Title: Pricing Analyst
Location: St Albans (Office-Based, with occasional travel)
Job Purpose:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pricing Analyst to join our dynamic team. The role focuses on providing excellence in customer service, delivering effective support to our Contract Manager business partners, and ensuring the successful implementation of our Retail Pricing Strategy. You will work closely with both internal teams and external partners to drive retail sales growth and ensure seamless pricing and range execution.
Main Accountabilities:
* Provide exceptional support and assist with the Retail scanning helpdesk.
* Drive retail sales growth and improve margins through effective pricing, range implementation, and margin analysis.
* Ensure timely and accurate resolution of queries to minimise product sale times.
* Support day-to-day operations of Head Offices & Systems.
* Set up promotions, test scanning, and work with in-house Test Tills.
* Maintain accurate Central Billing Files with the correct department structure.
* Support and manage margins across all brands.
* Collaborate closely with wholesalers to ensure proper line setups.
* Assist the Head of Pricing, Systems & Communications Manager in their daily activities.
* Provide cover for the department when required
Knowledge & Skills Required:
* Experience: Proven experience in project management and head office support functions.
* IT Skills: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to conduct detailed analysis, manipulate large data sets, and prepare actionable reports.
* Commercial Awareness: Ability to understand and support strategic pricing, range architecture, and margin management.
* Analytical Skills: High attention to detail, strong data analysis skills, and the ability to draw actionable conclusions.
* Communication: Ability to engage and influence diverse audiences at all levels within the organisation.
* Self-Motivation & Discipline: Strong work ethic, high self-motivation, and excellent organisational skills.
* Retail Experience: Experience with retail barcode and scanning systems and/or helpdesk support is a plus.

* Excellent planning and organisational abilities, with a focus on high accuracy and attention to detail.
