PreConstruction Manager
Reddbrick is recruiting for an experienced Preconstruction Manager to join a well-established regional construction business. This role is ideal for a proactive professional with a strong background in preconstruction, tendering, and design management within the construction industry.
Preconstruction Manager Role:
As a Preconstruction Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the early stages of project development, working closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure the successful planning and execution of construction projects. You will lead preconstruction activities, manage design development, and oversee cost planning to align with project goals.
Preconstruction Manager Responsibilities:
✔ Lead preconstruction activities, including feasibility assessments, tendering, and design coordination.
✔ Manage design development, ensuring compliance with regulations and project specifications.
✔ Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers to optimise design and buildability.
✔ Oversee cost planning, budgeting, and value engineering to maximise project efficiency.
✔ Work closely with commercial and construction teams to ensure a seamless transition from preconstruction to delivery.
✔ Identify and mitigate project risks during the early stages.
✔ Ensure all preconstruction processes align with company standards and industry best practices.
Preconstruction Manager Requirements:
✔ Proven experience as a Preconstruction Manager or in a similar role within the construction industry.
✔ Strong understanding of construction methodologies, contracts (JCT/NEC), and value engineering.
✔ Ability to lead design coordination and preconstruction planning.
✔ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
✔ Proficiency in cost planning, budgeting, and tendering.
