Preconstruction and Technical Manager
Location: Manchester or Liverpool
Salary: negotiable, depending on experience
Salter Grange are leading the recruitment for a Preconstruction and Technical Manager position for a developer focusing on high-rise student accommodation projects.
Key responsibilities:
Lead the preconstruction phase for high-rise student accommodation projects
Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met
Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and value engineering
Oversee technical aspects of the project, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations
Prepare and present detailed project reports to stakeholders
Foster strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodiesRequirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
Experience in preconstruction and technical management, preferably in high-rise construction
Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations
Excellent project management and leadership skills
