Job Description
Ballycommon are actively seeking experienced Plant Operators, Slingers, Crane Supervisors, Telehandlers, Vehicle Marshalls, Dumper Operators, Rollers, and ADT Operators for long-term opportunities in Leiston, Suffolk. * Plant Operators (Excavators, Dozers, etc.)

* Crane Supervisors

Location: Leiston, Suffolk

Key Responsibilities:
As part of our team, your key responsibilities will vary depending on the role but will include:
* Plant Operation: Safely and efficiently operate a range of machinery, including excavators, telehandlers, dumpers, rollers, and ADTs, ensuring all plant is operated in compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Slinging and Crane Supervision: For Slingers and Crane Supervisors, you will be responsible for directing crane operations, safely lifting and moving materials, ensuring all rigging is carried out in accordance with safety standards.
* Vehicle Marshalls: Safely direct vehicles and machinery on-site, ensuring the smooth and safe movement of traffic around the site.
* Site Coordination: Collaborate with other members of the site team to ensure efficient operation and smooth workflow, assisting in meeting project deadlines.
* Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all site personnel.
* Maintenance and Inspection: Conduct routine checks and maintenance of machinery to ensure it remains in good working condition, reporting any faults or issues to the relevant parties.
What We’re Looking For:
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
* Experience: Proven experience in the operation of the relevant machinery or plant equipment.
* Certifications:
* Valid CSCS Card (specific cards for plant operators, Slingers, Crane Supervisors, etc.).
* Relevant qualifications for your role, including CPCS, NPORS, or equivalent certifications.
* Crane Supervisors: Valid Crane Supervisor ticket.
* Telehandlers: Relevant Telehandler certification.
* Slingers: Valid Slinger Signaller certification.
* Reliability: Dependable, punctual, and with a strong work ethic.
* Health & Safety Awareness: Strong understanding and adherence to site-specific health and safety regulations.
* Own Transport: Preferred, as access to the site may be limited by public transport.
