Job Description
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Plant Mechanic to join a growing team working within a Plant Hire company based in the Southend-on-Sea area. The company are looking for someone to maintain, diagnose, and repair a range of construction and heavy-duty plant equipment.
What's on offer:
Salary up to £36,000
Hours are 7.30am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday
25 days holiday plus bank holidays

Free onsite parkingDuties:
Diagnose, service, and repair plant equipment, including diggers, dumpers, woodchippers, concrete crushers, skip loaders, and hydraulic tracked trenchers.
Conduct routine inspections to identify faults, troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic and electrical systems as required.
Perform scheduled maintenance to reduce the risk of breakdowns.
Maintain records of all repairs, services, and inspections carried out.
Provide technical advice and guidance to customers on equipment usage and maintenance.Skills & Experience:
Must have experience as a Plant Mechanic or similar with a good knowledge of construction and heavy plant equipment.
Must be proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
The ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics is essential.
NVQ Level 2/3 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent would be preferable with strong problem-solving skills.
