Personal Assistant to the Director Social Spirits Ltd Location: The Castle Pub, Great Leighs, Essex Salary: Up to £30k per annum, based on experience Job Type: Full-time Are you a dynamic, organised, and proactive individual with a passion for hospitality and administration? Social Spirits Ltd is seeking a Personal Assistant to support our company director in managing the successful operation of The Castle Pub in Great Leighs and a range of exciting events and projects. About the Role: As the Personal Assistant to the Director, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of the pub / restaurant and supporting various business ventures. You will: Assist with Pub / Restaurant Operations: Help manage the day-to-day organisation of The Castle Pub, including events, marketing, staff coordination and operational efficiency. Event Support: Work closely with the Director to plan and execute events that create memorable experiences for our guests. Marketing Activities: Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote The Castle Pub and its events across digital and traditional platforms. Administrative Tasks: Handle emails, bookings, invoicing, and other administrative duties for the pub and Director. Other Ventures: Provide support for and get experience of the Director's other businesses, such as Airbnb rentals - duties may include: bookings, guest communication, and property organisation. General Support: Carry out ad hoc tasks as required to ensure the Director’s personal and professional commitments run smoothly. About You: To thrive in this role, you should have: Experience in hospitality or events management. Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills. A proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to work independently. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong IT skills - Microsoft packages and Photoshop etc. A creative flair for marketing and social media. The ability to work flexibly – this is a busy operation with plans to grow further.
