Payroll Elite are working with a well-established business based in Reading who is looking to recruit a Payroll Assistant.
This is a hybrid working role.
Day to day duties:
* Ensure the accurate and timely delivery of payrolls to agreed deadlines.
* Inputting data for any of the payrolls when necessary
* Monitoring SSP, SMP and other statutory payments and calculations
* Process P45 form.
* Assist Supervisor's with BACS payments
* You will be on hand to answering any payroll related enquiries
* Undertake general administrative duties and work collaboratively within the payroll Team.
* Run payroll reports.
What are we looking for:
* A minimum of one year service within a busy service driven environment
* You must have high volume payroll experience
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
* A natural ability to coordinate, prioritise and multitask with little supervision
* Be able to adapt to a highly changeable environment
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work under pressure whilst meeting tight deadlines
* Knowledge and understanding of payroll legislation
* Must have the ability to manually calculate a payroll
