Job Description
Part time Night Parcel Sorters required immediately to join well known, national parcel distribution centre working night shift only from midnight (00.00) until 6.30am
2/3 shifts per week only , must be able to work FRIDAY and SUNDAY nights plus 1 mid week shift working approx. 12 - 18 hours per week.
Due to hours of work and location own , reliable transport is required along with the availability to work weekends - Friday night from midnight finishing at 6.30am Saturday morning, returning Sunday night finishing Monday mornings at 6.30am
PAY : £13.72 PH , paid weekly by Swift Temps Ltd on a temp to perm basis
LOCATION: Gloucester
Duties will involve :
- Sort and organize incoming shipments in the warehouse
- Use warehouse management system (AS400) to track and locate items
- Heavy lifting of packages and materials
- Build and stock shelves with inventory
- Load and unload trucks
- Pick and pack orders for shipment
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks
Previous order picking, parcel sorting or warehouse experience is essential.
Please note, hours will vary week on week depending on the order book of the distribution centre, and we can not guarantee hours.
