Panel Beater
Location: Chester (Deeside Bodyshop)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (42 hours)
Salary: Up to £44,000 OTE (Basic up to £38,000 + Uncapped Bonus)
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
We’re working with Lookers Chester Bodyshop, who are on the lookout for an experienced Panel Beater to join their high-performing team at their state-of-the-art facility in Deeside.
Whether you're already experienced or you're from a cosmetic/accident repair background and looking to take that next step, this is an excellent opportunity to grow your career with one of the UK’s leading motor retailers. You'll be working alongside skilled technicians, supported by strong leadership and hands-on manufacturer-led training.
Your Responsibilities:
Strip and repair damaged vehicle panels and chassis to manufacturer standards
Maintain quality standards for all body metal preparation and repairs
Accurately record all work completed and communicate additional work needs to estimators
Provide technical insight into repair methods for audits or internal review
Support a customer-first culture through transparent and clear communication
What You’ll Need:
Previous panel repair experience in a bodyshop or similar setting
Completion of a Panel Technician Modern Apprenticeship (or equivalent)
Strong understanding of automotive systems and materials
Diligent, honest, and deadline-driven approach
Full and valid UK driving licence
