Job Title: Packing / Driving Operative
Type: Temp to Perm
Hourly rate: £12.00+ per hour
Working hours: Mon-Thurs 7am-4pm & Fri 7am-1pm
Our well known client based in Biggleswade are looking for a Packing / Driving Operative to join their team on a Temp to Perm basis. They are looking for a hand-on individual, who is not afraid to get stuck into a vast number of duties on a day to day basis. The perfect candidate must have experience working within the Sheet Metal industry, to understand the different materials you will be manoeuvring on a daily basis.
Main duties as a Packing / Driving Operative:
- Pack orders for customers and clientele
- Keep orders/products separated, organised and in good rotation
- Deliver orders to local postcodes
- Operate the Forklift Truck
- Wrap larger orders with the Pallet Wrapper
- Maintain accurate stock rotation
- Report any order problems and damaged items to managerial team
- Maintain a clean and tidy yard, warehouse, truck, and forklift
What's need as a Packing / Driver Operative:
- Experience of working within the Sheet Metal industry
- Forklift and Delivery experience
- Experience of an understanding within order processing and stock rotation
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy loads
- Strong attention to detail
- Team player
- Must hold a clean and valid UK drivers license
