About the Client:
Our client is a leading Environmental, Energy, Sustainability, and Occupational Health & Safety consultancy, providing innovative solutions across the UK and Ireland. They are currently expanding their asbestos analysis division and seeking a dedicated P401-qualified Lab Analyst to join their laboratory team.
Roles/Responsibilities of the P401-qualified Lab Analyst:
• Conduct asbestos sample analysis in line with UKAS accreditation and HSG248 standards.
• Receive, log, and appropriately store samples.
• Perform daily quality checks on samples and analysis processes.
• Maintain accurate records and upload results into the database.
• Liaise with clients professionally and address any concerns with management.
• Assist with sample kit production and laboratory maintenance.
• Ensure health and safety protocols are consistently followed.
Qualifications:
• P401 qualification is mandatory.
• Minimum of 1 year of laboratory experience (preferred).
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure, both independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
