Job Description
We recruiting on behalf of a busy engineering based company based in Telford for an FLT/Overhead crane operative to work in a busy manufacturing environment
Job Role
* Working in a engineering environment
* To check goods in against delivery notes for accuracy and faults/damages.
* Loading and unloading of vehicles
* Assisting with the movement of sheet metal around the factory.
* Storing items in relevant sections.
* Packing & assembly goods in boxes.
* Maintaining a clean working environment in yard and shop floor.
* Ensure all stock movement is recorded correctly.
* Forklift truck counter balance driving
Experience/Requirements
* Previous working experience in engineering/sheet metal environment is essential
* FLT Counterbalance licence is essential
* Overhead crane licence is essential
* Goods in/out experience
* Good communication skills liaising with other departments.
* Ability to use own initiative and prioritise workload
* Attention to detail
* Comfortable with manual handling.
The Package
* 12 week temporary to permanent contract.
* £13.00 - £13.50 depending on experience
* On site parking.
