Job description Outreach - Preston: Prospero Teaching are looking for an Outreach worker to support children with SEMH in the community near Preston. You must be able to drive for this role. Responsibilites: Taking attendance in the mornings Liasing with parents regarding absences Confident in liasing with social services and other parties to best support the individual Confident in behaviour management techniques and de-escalation strategies Referring to education and health care plans (EHCP)Position Details: Position - Outreach Worker Location: Preston Hours: (Apply online only) Type of work: Temporary Full time/part time: Full time Start date: January 2025 End date: Ongoing Minimum rate of pay: £90 - £120 per day depending on experienceExperience, Training & Qualifications: Previous experience working with children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health issues Team Teach qualification would be highly desirable Must be able to drive as this is a driving roleTO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two yearsOTHER If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
