About the role: We are looking for an OSI PI Engineer to join our OSI team for a site-based project in Cork. The Senior OSIsoft PI Software Engineer needs to have an in-depth experience of OSI Data Historian Systems, Control Systems and Process Analysis. The successful candidate should have an extensive background in Software Engineering with experience in systems analysis and software development within the pharmaceutical industry. He/she should be highly motivated, an innovative thinker and self-starter, with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills Responsibilities: * Review and analysis of User Requirements Specification Documents * Support development of the Detail Design specifications * Development of PI Tags * Development of PIG Graphic User Interface / Visuals * Support Software development, testing, commissioning and qualification * Ability to provide first line PI sustaining support * Support the execution of system changes and optimisation under site change control * PI Qualification Execution Requirements: * Familiarity with ISA 88 and GAMP * Typically over 4+ years relevant industry PI experience * PI System Training * Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience About Cognizant Cognizant (Nasdaq-100: CTSH) is one of the world's leading professional services companies, transforming clients' business, operating and technology models for the digital era.
