Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are currently recruiting a number of Glazing Technician to work in a clean, modern and fast paced manufacturing environment on the Tyseley area of Birmingham.

We need the ideal candidate to have a keen eye for detail, be computer literate and be comfortable absorbing training to help run and maintain machinery. You will be required to work a shift of Working Hours - Sun 9 -8, Mon - Tues 10-10, Alt Weds 10-10.

Pay and Benefits:
£27,000.00 - £(phone number removed) per annum depending on experience
Sun 9 -8, Mon - Tues 10-10, Alt Weds 10-10.
Hours: Sunday to Tuesday (Alternate Wednesday's)
Company Pension up to 5% matching
Life insurance - 3.5 times your salary
Work within a small team (8-9 people)

Duties
Ability to glaze optical orders
Willingness to undertake training and continuous professional/personal development
Knowledge of health and safety and Environment practices in the work place.
Previous experience working within an optics or manufacturing environment.
Ability to problem solve
Ability to work both individually and as part of a team in a proactive and supporting manner
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to prioritise workloads, meet deadlines and achieve targets
Attention to detail
Ability to take a pro-active approach
Self motivated
Must have Qualifications/Experience:
**Must have experience in Optical Glazing**
Good communication skills – confident
Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplined team
Previous Experience of having worked in a Customer services environment.
Ability to work in a fast paced Environment
