About the Role:
Join an innovative manufacturing team that's committed to continuous improvement and delivering excellence. As the Operations Manager, you will oversee the manufacturing facility's operations, ensuring quality, profitability, and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and manage the daily manufacturing schedule to align with customer orders
Coordinate production and logistics to meet monthly targets
Raise Works Orders and efficiently schedule workforce using ERP systems
Implement efficient processes to optimize productivity and minimize waste
Lead production of components, sub-assemblies, and finished products
Collaborate with teams to enhance operational efficiency
Provide clear communication to the management team about performance and opportunities
Train and support the manufacturing team to ensure growth and accountability
Monitor KPIs and take action to improve performance
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to maintain a competitive edge
Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and innovation
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
Proven experience in senior operations management within manufacturing
Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAGE preferred)
Ability to deliver results to senior management and board level
Strong leadership skills and ability to inspire teams
Excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and lean methodologies
Great communication skills and team collaboration
Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations
