Job Description
Chase Taylor Recruitment are currently working with a specialist window business based in Buckinghamshire who are looking to recruit an Operations Manager.
This company specialises in the upvc trade fenestration market. The right candidate will have current or recent experience working as an operations manager within the window and door industry.
The role:
* Responsible for managing and planning the day to day production activities
* Oversee the day to day operations, including scheduling, logistics and resource allocation to ensure projects run smoothly
* Work with production staff, suppliers and other stake holders
* Maintain inventory control and manager supplier relationships to ensure timely and cost effective product procurement
* Recruit, train and develop a high performing shop floor staff and operations team
* Analyse data and generate reports to identify areas for improvement and drive informed decision-making
* Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards
The candidate:
* Current/recent experience as an Operations Manager within a window and door / home improvement industry
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
* Understand LEAN manufacturing
* Good understanding of the production of window and door products
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Exceptional problem solving skills and attention to detail
* Be computer literate
* Must currently reside in the UK
