Operations Manager (Manufacturing)
Dudley
£40,000 to £50,000 DOE + Pension + Holidays + Huge progression opportunities!

The role of Operations Manager will be suited to those from lead roles in smaller manufacturing or machinery development backgrounds with a broad scope of managing processes across a facility. The successful candidate will have good knowledge of production planning, quality and improvements, hiring and commercial awareness of budgets and spending. A background in mechanical electrical manufacturing will be advantageous but not essential for the right individual.
Working in support of the Managing Directors you will assume general control of the day to day operations with respect to production, quality, planning, improvements, recruitment and have a significant input in strategic decisions. This will free up the time for the directors to focus on strategic leadership and growth activities that will accelerate the business over the coming years.
The company develop bespoke testing machinery for a broad range of engineering advancements and boast a client portfolio of some of the biggest names in the British engineering and R&D sectors. Manufacturing Operations Manager
* Oversee Production and general activity around planning from sourcing materials to final assembly.
* Take control of all general quality and H&S related activities, issues and improvements. (Audits and QM are not essential to this role.)
* Recruitment planning and activity along with budgetary decisions
* High degree of autonomy and confidence to act is essential to the role.
