Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We are seeking a talented and motivated Operations Manager to work for our client in the South East UK. This is an incredible opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that are shaping the future of the energy sector.
The Opportunity: The Operations Manager will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and reliable operation and maintenance of a circa 7MW steam turbine unit, biomass boilers, and all auxiliary and ancillary plant used to support the burning of waste wood fuel and production of power.
As Operations Manager, you will act as line manager for the Shift Team Leaders to ensure that all operations and functions associated with all main and auxiliary plant meet the generation and availability targets, safely, efficiently, and in an environmentally sensitive manner.
Minimum Requirements:
Apprentice trained craftsperson.
ONC in an Engineering discipline.
Sound understanding of process flow.
Detailed knowledge of plant and maintenance systems and their functionality.
Experience leading a small team.
