Assistant & Receptionist – Investment Firm (Mayfair, London) Location: Mayfair, London Salary: £35,000 - £50,000, based on experience Job Type: Full-time A highly regarded investment firm with offices in London and Stockholm is looking for a proactive and service-minded Assistant & Receptionist to support its London office. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing, entrepreneurial team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The Role As the Assistant & Receptionist, you’ll play a key role in ensuring a professional and welcoming office environment while supporting the team with administrative and operational tasks. This is an opportunity to take ownership of office operations and contribute to a collaborative, high-energy workplace. Key Responsibilities: 🛎 Office & Reception Management * Act as the first point of contact for visitors, ensuring a professional and welcoming reception experience. * Manage meeting room preparations, including setup, refreshments, and logistical arrangements. * Oversee office supplies and liaise with vendors, including cleaning services and maintenance providers. * Handle incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and courier services. ✈️ Event & Travel Coordination * Arrange travel bookings for the team, including flights, hotels, trains, and taxis. * Assist in coordinating team events and social activities. 📑 Team & Administrative Support * Provide assistance to senior management and the wider team. * Manage basic administrative tasks such as invoice processing and expense management. * Support operational needs on an ad-hoc basis. Who We’re Looking For: This role is perfect for someone highly proactive, detail-oriented, and naturally service-minded. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, take pride in keeping things organised, and bring a positive, can-do attitude to the team. ✅ Key Traits & Skills: * Previous experience in an assistant, receptionist, or administrative role is a plus but not required. * A natural problem-solver who takes initiative and enjoys multitasking. * Highly organised with strong attention to detail. * A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Confident using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). * Fluent in English (written and spoken). Swedish language skills are preferred but not essential.
