Job Description
Our client, a leading freight forwarder is looking for an Ocean Import Operator to join their office in West Thurrock.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Booking shipments from start to finish providing all shipping details to the importer
* Booking shipments with overseas agents worldwide for ocean and air freight
* Providing all shipping details to the importer
* Quoting clients for all import modes.
* Checking arrivals of vessels and keeping in constant contact with the importer
* Processing of customs entries for air, sea and land freight
* Working knowledge of CNS / Destin8
* Booking deliveries
* Completing sales invoices and passing purchase invoices
* Weekly shipping reports for customers
* Dealing with supplier and customer queries
* Looking for (min) 3 – 5 years’ experienceBefore You Apply
